Carol’s Commentary

This is the space I will share my revelations and commentary on God’s word here as it relates to leading with God in all our leadership roles at home, at work, and in the community. I’m learning how to receive the Lord’s rest fully, as prescribed in Hebrews 4. I look forward to sharing my own journey and revelations with you (the leader, the entrepreneur, the busy professional or minister) as we learn together to lead well from a place of rest in our businesses, organizations, and workplace.

As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates his finished works and rests in them. So then we must be eager to experience this faith-rest life, so that no one falls short by following the same pattern of doubt and unbelief. – Hebrews 4:10-11 TPT

Let’s enjoy the journey of rest together!

The first entries, while not the most recent, I believe, are a good starting point for us. It shares a little insight into the beginning of my personal rest journey to give you context as we get started on the rest journey. These are notes I drafted in my personal journey as I intentionally sat in rest for one month.
